GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) – A Delta flight bound for Detroit has returned to Greenville, S.C., after a report of the smell of smoke inside the plane.
Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport spokeswoman Rosylin Weston says Flight 6168 left the airport Wednesday and someone reported the smell of smoke shortly after takeoff.
First responders met the 50-seat plane at Greenville-Spartanburg at 1 p.m. Weston says there was no fire, and authorities didn’t immediately discover the source of the smoke smell.
Weston says there were 41 passengers and crew members onboard at the time. No injuries were reported.
