Main Street Minute: Dairy Queen to donate portion of ice cream sales to kids’ hospitals

• Buy an ice cream and help some kids Thursday. Fast-food chain Dairy Queen is hosting its 11th annual Miracle Treat Day by donating $1 or more from the sale of each Blizzard to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which includes Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
• Dozens of jobs in education, security, IT and more are available at a hiring event Thursday in the East Valley. The fair runs from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Mesa Convention Center near Alma School Road and University Drive.
• Crowd-sourced review website Yelp has expanded its Phoenix offices. The Phoenix Business Journal reports the San Francisco-based company wants to hire 120 employees for its Eat24 team by the end of the year.
