The Democratic National Convention speakers you don’t want to miss

PHILADELPHIA — The Democratic National Convention is kicking off its jam-packed week of celebrity speeches and political endorsements with a bang.
Monday’s speeches came out of the gate with Sen. Bernie Sanders and his ringing endorsement of the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton.
Speeches will continue with Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Astrid Silva, an immigration reform activist and the night rounds out with First Lady Michelle Obama.
Tuesday’s theme is “A Lifetime of Fighting for Children and Families,” and will include speakers known as “Mothers of the Movements” women whose children have died at the hand of law enforcement.
The rest of the week’s themes are “Working Together” and “Stronger Together,” that will include speeches from prominent political figures and member’s of Clinton’s family.
Arizona will be well represented at the DNC as congressman Raul Grijalva, congressman Ruben Gallego, former Arizona congresswoman and U.S. Rep. Gabrielle “Gabby” Giffords and Capt. Mark Kelly, Giffords’ husband, will all take the stage at some point in the week.
Viewers will also see a few famous faces, with celebrities such as Katy Perry and Lena Dunham expected to make appearances.
