Main Street Minute: Hiring event in Phoenix, West Valley shops break ground this month

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday at 7:23 a.m.
• The Embassy Suites near 24th Street and Camelback Road is holding a hiring event from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday. Customer service, management, information technology, administration and financial analyst positions will be available.
• The West Valley is getting a new shopping center. This month, Evergreen Development plans to break ground on the Shops at Lake Pleasant near Happy Valley Road and Lake Pleasant Parkway in Peoria. Future tenants include a nail salon, dentist’s office, dry cleaner and Sprint. The center is expected to open for business in January.
