Main Street Minute: Valley pizza chain offering dollar slices for day

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday at 7:23 a.m.
• Streets of New York is celebrating 40 years in the Valley on Thursday by offering dollar slices of cheese pizza at most of its locations.
• Twenty employers hiring for more than 450 jobs in various fields will be on hand at a Thursday job fair in Phoenix. Representatives from local school districts, General Electric and GEICO will be attending the event at the Holiday Inn Phoenix Airport North near 44th Street and McDowell Road. The fair runs from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
• HealthPlanOne is hosting two hiring events across the Valley on Thursday, both from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. One is taking place near Interstate 17 and Thunderbird Road in Phoenix. The other is near Germann and Gilbert roads in Gilbert. HealthPlanOne is looking to add more than 100 call center agents to its staff.
