Main Street Minute: Grocer holding job fair, health center hiring medical assistants

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday at 7:23 a.m.

• Food City is looking to fill positions at all of its Valley stores. There will be a job fair Wednesday that runs from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at its 19th Avenue and Indian School Road location. The grocery chain is looking for cashiers and bakers as well as produce, deli and courtesy clerks.

• Mountain Park Health Center is holding a medical assistant job fair Wednesday. It runs from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the company’s corporate office near Central and Thomas avenues. Be sure to bring your medical assistant diploma, current CPR certification card and an updated resume.

• AAA Arizona is hiring full-time tow truck and roadside assistant drivers. Wednesday’s hiring event runs from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the automobile association’s fleet yard near 15th Avenue and Buckeye Road.
