A barricade situation in a Tempe house ended without injury Monday evening after a man surrendered to police after a few hours.

The unidentified man had refused to come out of his residence after police attempted to make contact. He had allegedly pulled a gun on a woman and threatened her.

According to Lt. Mike Pooley, police originally responded to a man and a woman arguing in the house near Baseline Road and Mill Avenue.

After she left the residence, the woman spoke with Tempe police.

By 8 p.m. Monday, police had made repeated attempts on the phone to coax him out the house.
