Two UA students have film screened at prestigious festival

A short film made by two University of Arizona students won the duo $200 in Tucson. A few months later, it was being shown in France at one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world.
UANews reported the film “Snaily”, which was directed by May graduate Bryan McAdams and featured another Wildcats student named Dillon Daniel, was screened at the Cannes Film Festival last week.
The 69-year-old French festival is regularly “attended by the likes of professionals affiliated with Paramount, 20th Century Fox and DreamWorks,” according to UANews.
“Snaily”, a film about a stop-motion animator struggling to make his next film, was the third consecutive film that McAdams has had featured at the Cannes Film Festival.
