Main Street Minute: Wine cafe to open 2 more spots in Phoenix area

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday at 7:23 a.m.

• An Arizona-based wine bar is expanding its presence in the Valley. The Living Room Wine Cafe and Lounge will open in Ahwatukee and Scottsdale, the Phoenix Business Journal reporter. The Ahwatukee location will open by the end of May near 48th Street and Ray Road. The Scottsdale location will open in October near Pima Road and Thompson Peak Parkway.

Empereon-Constar hopes to hire 500 employees on the spot during a three-day job fair in Glendale. The event runs Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. near 51st Avenue and Bell Road. The marketing company is looking for full timers in sales, customer service and IT, among other openings.

• A chicken-salad themed restaurant is coming to metro Phoenix. The Chicken Scoop will offer more than a dozen flavors of chicken salad at the Scottsdale Promenade starting in July.
