Faith in Humanity: Program helps metro Phoenix teens too old for foster care

PHOENIX — Phoenix-area teens who are aging out of the foster-care system aren’t on their own — they can turn to ResilientMe.
The youth-services nonprofit was the brainchild of onetime foster youth who created a program to help kids make a successful transition from the system to independence.
From the website:
Our program focuses on increasing self-sufficiency and resiliency, ultimately guiding them through a successful transitioning experience and providing them with the tools necessary to become productive members of society and resilient adults.
The organization said each year about 20,000 youths become too old (age 18) for foster care services.
The program accepts donations and volunteers are welcome.
