Canadian police provide escort for family of ducks

Police escorts are usually a big deal, but sometimes all that’s required is two policemen walking their bikes.

That was the case in Canada this week, as two policemen provided a police escort to a family of ducks attempting to make their way through traffic.

“We came because the citizens were concerned,” Const. Joey Taylor said to the Saskatoon StarPhoenix. “They saw them downtown, didn’t want anybody to get hurt and didn’t want any of the ducks to get hurt.”

As the video shows, there were times when a police vehicle assisted the escort.

The police escorted the ducks all the way to a river, even helping one that fell behind catch up.
