Main Street Minute: Ice cream shop, bank hiring in metro Phoenix

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday at 7:23 a.m.

• An ice cream shop is going on a hiring spree. Creamistry in Scottsdale is kicking off a three-day hiring event Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. for its soon-to-open location near 90th Street and Bell Road. The California-based Creamistry has 25 open positions.

• There’s a big job fair Wednesday, running from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Phoenix Airport Marriott near 44th Street and McDowell Road. A number of employers will be on hand.

• MidFirst Bank is hosting an open interview for tellers on Wednesday. It runs from 4:40 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Glendale near 67th Avenue and Bell Road. Hiring managers will be conducting interviews.
