Scottsdale and Tucson schools top the list of best high schools

In new rankings released by U.S. News, two Valley high schools made the list of the best public high schools.
BASIS Scottsdale in Scottsdale received a goal medal and ranked second of the entire list of schools. BASIS Tucson North received a gold medal as well and third place. Both schools had a score of 100 for college readiness.
U.S. News rated more than 21,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. Schools were awarded gold, silver or bronze medals. Awards were based on performance on state assessments, how well students are prepared for college and graduation rates.
