Mac & Gaydos joined by Burmese python after losing March Madness bet

Bets are always fun to make, until you find yourself on the losing end.
And unfortunately for us, we lost a bet to our pals Jayme West and Jim Sharpe, hosts of Arizona’s Morning News, and we paid quite the price.
Considering that it was March, it only felt natural to challenge the friendly radio duo to a competition full of madness — March Madness, that is.
West and Sharpe put their college basketball knowledge to the test and filled out their bracket (going mostly off of colors and mascots) and chose University of Kansas to win it all, while we had good, ‘ol University of Arizona in the top spot.
Unfortunately, much like most of the country, both brackets were busted early on with many of the favorites getting wiped out in the first few rounds and ended with Villanova taking home the championship in a shocking 77-74 buzzer-beater.
So, even though both teams were in the wrong, we ended up being more wrong and had to do an hour of our show joined by a special guest — Kaa, an approximately 15-foot-long albino Burmese Python.

Thanks to our good friends at Wildlife World Zoo, we were able to be joined by Kaa for an hour of our show — an hour!
Luckily, we both made it out alive to see another day. Now we just have to make another bet so West and Sharpe can feel our pain.
