Burning laptop prompts warning to Colo. residents

GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) – Colorado authorities have arrested a man after more than three dozen residents of Golden were warned to stay inside their homes because of a burning laptop.
Police say they ordered the warnings after they saw smoke and smelled gas. According to KMGH-TV (
http://bit.ly/yLOHzS), they later found that a man was burning his laptop in a fireplace.
Authorities called in hazardous material investigators to determine if there was any danger.
