Arpaio has message for Obama

PHOENIX - One day prior to President Barack Obama's visit to the Valley, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has a message for the president: "I don't believe in amnesty. That's what all this is about."

Arpaio says Obama and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano are off the mark when it comes to illegal immigration reform.

"Why doesn't he say, ‘Let's get rid of all the illegals taking these jobs, so our citizens can have the jobs.' Why are they saying that we should only arrest the employer and not the employees that are here illegally? Now, if I met with the president, I would ask him that question," Arpaio said.

The president says he expects Congress to draft immigration bills this year and he's working on getting the measures passed in 2010. Meanwhile, Arpaio says he'd be happy to share some insight.

"If I was the president, I'd say ‘sheriff, can you come to the White House? I'd like to talk to you about this whole problem.' You don't think that's ever gonna happen? Or Janet, she knows who I am," Arpaio said.

    If I were President, I'd apprehend Sheriff Arpaio, then turn him over to The World Court in The Hague to be tried for crimes against humanity, with a note stipulating that he be strung up by his genitals when convicted.

    Go, Joe, Go!!! Keep up your excellent work in doing the job most police and law enforcement won't do. Arresting, incarcerating and turning over ILLEGAL ALIENS to ICE for deportation. If we had a Joe Arpaio as county sheriff in every county in America, we would have no illegal immigration problem whatsoever.

    WWJWD...What Would John Wayne Do? He would endorse Joe Arpaio and make sure he has all the support and resources he needs to lead the fight against illegal immigration and criminals of all stripes, creeds, colors and race. Sheriff Joe is an American treasure and a true American hero in this age of illegal alien hugging, PC and wimpiness. GO, SHERIFF JOE, GO...roundup ALL criminals and lawbreakers!!!

    of Arizona?? How many here grew up on the border when the drug cartels ran the show?? If you all would focus your energy on demanding the Feds to send troops back down to the border and closing it off we would not be worrying about a small time sheriff in the middle of the State. Most illegals avoid Phoenix now anyway and go around it...
