Aggressive coyotes may be present in Ahwatukee

Ahwatukee Foothills residents may want to keep an eye out for overly aggressive coyotes.

According to ABC15.com, a woman walking her small dog recently was approached by two coyotes who were growling and appeared poised to attack.

The animals were scared off by a nearby irrigation worker.

Joe Robinson, a long-time resident of the area, said they see all sorts of animals in the area and it struck him as odd that the coyotes would be so aggressive.

"I guess as animals get more tame they are less afraid to get close to humans, " he said.

The Arizona Department of Game & Fish said they get a large number of calls about coyotes, but there is not much they can do unless there is a significant threat.

Coyotes won't bother you unless you snoop around their safe house. After all, aren't they just people trying to improve their lives by smuggling pot and holding illegals hostage.

Bow hunting. Is it illegal to shoot a bow in the city limits as long as the target is safe. I can't imagine it's like firing a hand gun.

needing lights installed, they (the gov officials who say they protect you) will not do any protecting until someone dies, which meanes it's too late and there was no protection just reaction. In the cases with coyotes little kids are viewed as food too. Animals leave when they don't feel safe, make the coyotes feel threatened.
