TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State's Terell Carr has been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules coach Dennis Erickson announced Tuesday after practice.
Carr was arrested on suspicion of three misdemeanors and booked into a Maricopa County Jail Tuesday.
The arrest involved one count of disorderly conduct for fighting, one count assault and one count of driving with a suspended license.
The suspension leaves the Sun Devils secondary thin as Erickson also confirmed that cornerback Omar Boldin is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.
The cornerback position now have Pierre Singfield, Deveron Carr, Lequan Lewis and Josh Jordan available.
Jordan has been hobbled after hurting his ankle in practice last week.
Quarterback update
Senior Danny Sullivan was limited in practice on Tuesday night with an ice pack on his right bicep for much of practice. He participated at the end of practice and only handed the ball off.
Coach Erickson said Sullivan was bothered by a hit he took in last Saturday's game against USC.
With Sullivan limited freshman Brock Osweiler took a majority of the snaps with the first team.
Erickson said he would make his quarterback announcement by Thursday and could decide by the end of practice on Wednesday.
Arizona State needs to win two of their final three games in order to become bowl eligible.
