PHOENIX - The Diamondbacks Tuesday announced they will not be raising ticket prices for the 2010 season.
The D-backs, who have had the lowest average ticket price in Major League Baseball since 2007, are offering new options to season ticket holders, including guaranteed priority to purchase tickets to the 2011 MLB All-Star game, which will be held in Phoenix as well as tickets to games at the team's new Spring Training facility, set to open in 2011.
Season ticket holders are also eligible to win different prizes the team is offering in its new "30 Prizes in 30 Days" promotion, which runs from Aug. 28 - Sept. 26.
"By continuing to have the lowest average ticket price in Major League Baseball for the last three seasons and also offering ‘value priced' concession and merchandise items at the ballpark, one of our top priorities is to keep the experience at Chase Field affordable for all fans attending D-backs games," said D-backs' President and CEO Derrick Hall. "Creating added-value options for some sections of the ballpark, special events for all season ticket holders and always providing exemplary customer service is a must during these challenging economic times."
2010 will be the fourth-straight season in which the D-backs did not raise ticket prices on at least a majority of seats at Chase Field.
Fans wishing to purchase season tickets can call D-backs season ticket representatives at 602.514.8400 for more information.
