PHOENIX - Suns forward Louis Amundson will be returning for the 2009-10 season.
The Phoenix Suns chose to hold onto the 2009 Majerle Hustle Award winner, which means that the 6-foot-9, 238 pound, fan favorite will be out on the court for fans to cheer.
Right before Amundson was signed in 2008, Suns GM. Steve Kerr said, "This guy has potential … If we can develop him, then we have yet another good young asset."
Amundson was originally signed to the Suns on August 14, 2008, and in his first season with the Suns averaged 4.2 points and 13.7 minutes for the 2008-09 season.
This past season he played in 76 games, got his first career double-double, and became the Suns first reserve since the 2005-06 season to score a 20-10 game.
