PHOENIX - Phoenix Suns forward Amare Stoudemire will be sworn in as a special deputy by Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio on Tuesday.
Stoudemire, a central figure in the Phoenix area, has contributed to many charities benefiting youth in the Valley since becoming a member of the Suns.
The official swearing in will be at 2:00 P.M. with Sheriff Arpaio at his office in downtown Phoenix.
