A dictionary in California is being protested by parents for defining "oral sex." Is that knowledge a sixth grader really needs?

A commercial for pro-life running in the Super Bowl, right alongside Coke and sexy computer advertising? Right or wrong?

A cop is dead, a great cop shot by a man who should never have been allowed back on the streets. What is wrong with us and the prison system?

Don't ask don't tell, meet gay service men, what's it like to serve? Did their comrades in arms know, how were they treated? Can gay men and women serve well and still be openly gay?

With over 30 years in the business, Jay can talk about just about anything - and he does. Tune in to News/Talk 92.3 KTAR on Saturdays and Sundays, from 7 to 10 p.m.

Bio: Jay Lawrence

Jay Lawrence is a "true" conservative believing that less government is better government. Jay graduated from Columbia College in Chicago and went to WJPS in Evansville Indiana. Then on to bigger and better, Peoria. Illinois. Jay made it to Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and Cleveland before coming to KTAR.

Jay has golf clubs, however, this does not necessarily mean he's capable of respectable golf. But he carries his clubs to the course anyway. He has fishing rods and enjoys both salt water and fresh water fishing.

Lawrence enjoys all sports and has played most, but has been a baseball fan above all and enjoys the Diamondbacks particularly when they win, tolerates the team when they lose. Favorite memories are opening day for Major League Baseball in the Valley and sitting in row three along third-base line when the D-backs won the World Series. One other memory he'll always carry with him, the time he spent with the Beatles and stood outside a nightclub finding dates for the Fab Four in Cleveland.

Lawrence is a pizza fanatic and his constant battle to keep his 6'3" frame under 240 pounds attests to his love of sausage and pepperoni pizza. He runs and works out three or four times a week at the Village at Gainey Ranch and it's Jay's only hope of not being flown over sports venues with GOOD YEAR taped to his side.

Lawrence's musical tastes are eclectic, from classical to rap with country thrown in. He'd be just as likely to attend a Phoenix Symphony concert or ballet as he would a George Strait concert.
