Bio: Mark Salem

Years with Salem Boys: We've owned Salem Boys since 1979. Was an undercover police officer during the 1970s for the Scottsdale Police and DEA.

More on what you do: It depends on who you ask. Nothing to everything, but I don't do windows. I handle our 23 computers, servers, printers and marketing.

Education: Graduated high school, 55 hours of college credit in law enforcement. Graduate of TSOHK (the school of hard knocks) U.

Family: Ranae, my wife since 1974, three grown kids. Three grandsons: Alex, Mark and Rex.

Favorite food: Mexican, Mexican, did I say Mexican?

Favorite spot in Arizona: On horseback, working cows anywhere.

Favorite movie: Ain't been to a movie in 30 years. Anything with John Wayne.

First job: Delinquent, gas station attendant, policeman, business owner.

First concert: What's that?

#1 sports team: Oakland Raiders with Howie Long.

Outside interests: Horses, cows and my grandsons in no particular order.

Favorite car: Chevrolet Corvette.
