Anne Frank Exhibit Come to the Valley

Starting today, the exhibit "Anne Frank: A History for Today" will be on display at the Barness Family East Valley Jewish Community Center.

Meg Gabay with the center says visitors will see a series of panels showing, not just the life of Anne Frank and her family, "but how that threads through World War II, the Nazi regime and how it impacts not only the world of yesterday but the world today."

"It ties through the history of everything that had happened during that time, during the Holocaust, the people that it impacted and at the end of the exhibit it gives examples of how this type of genocide it occurring today."

This is the first time the exhibit has been in Arizona. It is on display through May 1.

The exhibit is free, but you have to make a reservation.
