Yavapai Authorities Arrest 85 Illegal Immigrants in Sweep

Authorities in Yavapai County say they arrested 85 suspected illegal immigrants this week as part of an operation they called "Return to Sender."

Yavapai County Sheriff Steve Waugh says his department teamed up with Prescott police and federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents assigned to a fugitive detail on the sweep. One of those arrested was a convicted sex offender who had previously been deported.

Waugh said in a statement that the sweep was the second this year and more are expected.
