Amber Alert Issued for 3 Missing Kids

Three children from Kingman are missing and their mother, Sandra Schaefer, who does not have custody, is suspected of taking them.

It's believed the children are in danger because of the mother's mental instability and drug abuse.

Officials report they may be headed to Oregon or Washington.

The vehicle is a dark green 1996 Pontiac four-door with Arizona license plate 915-XBP. There's a light green patch on the front left fender.

The missing children include Marchel Shaffer, 11, five feet four inches and 150 pounds; Brittany Shaffer, 10, 4 feet and 65 pounds; Krystal Shafer, 9. three feet five inches and 50 pounds.

All three children are Caucasian and have brown hair and eyes.

Their mother is described as Caucasian, five feet four, 150 pounds with brown hair and eyes.
