Fire Experts Say Wildfires Could Start Anytime

"You know you try to sit around and armchair quarterback this stuff it's always a little hard to predict when and how severe its going to be but the early indications from our predictive services folks said it's going to be early and above normal activity," said Type 1 Incident Commander Jeff Whitney.

Whitney said it's not our imagination, fires are getting larger and more dangerous each year and more difficult to fight.
