by KTAR Newsroom (March 19th, 2007 @ 7:52am)

A road rage incident in Mesa left a man with a gunshot wound in the buttocks.

Police said the shooting happened over the weekend on Brown Road and Horne (between Stapley and Mesa Drive).

Witnesses said a passenger in a car started arguing with two pedestrians because the men crossed the street in front of the car, causing them to slow down.

Police said one of the pedestrians pulled out a gun and shot at the passenger.

The suspects ran away.

The shooter is described as average height and weight, in his late teens or early twenties with a white baseball hat, white T-shirt and blue jeans.
