PHOENIX -- Two men have been named in an 87-count indictment accusing them of multiple sex crimes involving seven victims.
The suspects were identified as Daniel Cortez, 19, and Jonquell Jones, 22. Each is charged with multiple counts of child prostitution, assault and sexual conduct with a minor.
The crimes date back to 2006, the Maricopa County Attorney's Office said. It said the victims included six minors, the youngest 15.
Cortez was arrested Sept. 14 in Phoenix. Jones was arrested in California and extradited to Arizona earlier this month.
"This office and the Phoenix Police Department have teamed up in the past to put predators who prostitute teen girls behind bars," said County Attorney Andrew Thomas. "We continue that effort with this prosecution."
