PHOENIX - Not sure which wine to serve at Thanksgiving? An event this Sunday could help you decide.
It's the first annual Arizona Wine Growers Festival at The Farm in south Phoenix, at 32nd Street and Southern Avenue.
"There will be wine tastings. There will be live music, a picnic lunch. It's going to be a fantastic time. And it's something fun to do right before the rush of Thanksgiving week," says spokesman Ty Largo.
He says along with wine tasting, it will be a great opportunity to learn about wine. "I certainly would benefit from the Wine 101 tasting classes, the food and wine pairings. We'll have interactive exhibits from Yavapai College there to discuss the different wine-growing regions of Arizona and how wine is actually made."
And you'll help decide which wine is best. "There will be a people's choice awards that they can participate in. They'll be able to taste, tip, sample Arizona's top wines and actually get to vote and choose."
Over 20 Arizona wineries will take part in the largest ever celebration of Arizona wines.
