Farmer's market with a twist

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - If you're looking for something fun to do this weekend, you might head to Scottsdale.
The intersection of First Street and Brown in Old Town Scottsdale will be packed every Saturday through May with vendors at a farmer's market with a twist.
You can also take a class with a local chef and learn a recipe that includes the produce you buy here.
This week's chef is James Porter of Petite Mason. "Petite Maison is a sort of a French country-inspired bistro, so I'm thinking something along the lines of what you can find at his restaurant or he could pull something out of left field. He's a very imaginative chef," says Scottsdale's Latarina Kovacevic.
She says the farmers market is free, but the $40 class is limited to 10 students and you need to sign up on line at www.thefarmsessions.com.
