  Partying is never victimless

  Where did the teens get the alcohol? When did society decide that teenage drinking is acceptable; when Hollywood repeatedly drilled the idea into their heads? Desensitizing to sexual activity and violent assault is another result of an unchecked onslaught by video games, movies, tv, and the internet. PARENTS must be more vigilant to know what their children are doing.

  Non-supervision at the dance/school

  One of the news tapes last week was of a female school-mate of the victim. The young woman was VERY articulate and accused the school officials and the assigned officers and chaperones as totally IGNORING what was going on outside. even to the point of no one patrolling the perimeters of the dance venue.

  Everyone of the bystanders deserves 20 years in prison and everyone of the rapists deserves the needle. This young lady's life as she once knew it has now been taken from her. What the heck is wrong with people?

  Nauseating to my core

  To say that I am saddened by this event would be like saying that the 911 event was just anther day. Why was this allowed to happen when there was four police officers on campus, at least one security guard, the principle, and a hand full of faculty and chaperons on campus? There should be no one on campus that does not go to school there, and EVERY adult (i.e faculty, police, security guard) should be patrolling the area like the President was on campus.   is revolting. This girl will be a basket case for a long time. Poor thing. And as far as the bystanders not being charged, isn't failure to report a felony a crime?? Did I miss something?
