Town halls are meant to give citizens direct access to lawmakers, but sometimes that's a bad thing.
Sen. John McCain ran into a bit of opposition on Tuesday at his immigration town hall meeting in Sun Lakes, when he reportedly called an attendee a "jerk."
Town halls are meant to let ideas flow back and forth, but are insults apart of that exchange? Immigration is a testy subject among many Arizonans.
