Colorado shooter mask hits eBay

Someone actually went there.

According to ABC News, an eBay seller was attempting to sell a mask in the likeness of the Aurora, Colo. shooter James Holmes.

"SHOCK EVERYONE YOU KNOW!" the eBay ad read. "There is nothing more scary than crawling into James Holmes mind and wearing his face. His ‘soul penetrating eyes' and ‘The Joker' orange hair makes this mask the most disturbing object you will ever own. Imagine owning the mask of supposedly the most dangerous mass murderer in US history."

The seller claimed they won custom-made mask in a European poker game and referenced a documentary that will be released in 2013.

The auction, which offered a starting bid of $500, was taken down Friday. There were no bids made.
