Trust is the key component in any successful, healthy relationship, but according to a new poll, both men and women snoop around each other’s phones.
According to the Daily Mail, about 13,100 men and women were surveyed and while the men snoop, they did so less than the females.
One quarter of men said they looked through their partner’s phone or tablet “because they are nosy,” but 12 percent said they do so to try and catch their partner lying to or cheating on them.
As far as the women, a third of them also said they were nosy, with 21 percent thinking their lover was cheating on them and 14 percent did so to catch them in a lie.
And just how often was a partner actually found cheating or lying?
[M]ore than half of men said they found evidence of cheating or lying, compared to 71 percent of women.
