I'm worried about what will happen if Obama wins
There is little time until the election and I am worried.
I have some questions that I am almost afraid to answer: Are many Americans dependent on government? Yes! Do many Americans have an entitlement mentality? Yes again.
I am afraid that Barak Obama is the personification of that mentality.
The president and his liberal government have worked to convince Americans that the election of Mitt Romney will turn off the spigot. There are many on social security disability roles who probably should not be there. Liberal rule changes have swollen those roles.
Think of this: almost half of our country has at least one household member receiving a government check. The president did away with Bill Clinton's work rules for welfare and almost 20 million more Americans can now receive food stamps and welfare without looking for a job.
Liberals have spent four years creating a government dependency and those pigeons, I fear, are coming home to roost.
There are many of our friends and neighbors who receive Social Security checks. Those are checks they earned, money taken from paychecks for many years and now being returned. That was a promise and should not be touched, but this administration has tried to convince seniors that Mitt Romney will reduce or do away with Social Security, which is an absolute lie.
This administration has tried to convince America that the $716 billion being taken from Medicare will only make Medicare better. If you believe that, I have a bridge over the San Franciso Bay I can sell you. That panel of 15 will determine if a senior should get a kidney, a knee, a heart transplant. Cost will be the determining factor but it also will be considered how much will you be able to give back to society if the medical procedure is approved.
Say goodbye to your family if this Obamacare policy ever goes into effect. Romney will repeal it. Obama will enforce it. That $716 billion is being taken from doctors and hospitals who now may refuse service to Medicare patients, but the administration has people convinced that won't happen.
I am worried. Will productive Americans be able to show up in numbers strong enough to withstand the entitlement mentality?
