PHOENIX - A Valley-based polling website that was launched earlier this year is exploding in popularity.
The site, wepolls.com, was founded by Craig Quiter and Robert Vinciguerra. The two men said they wanted to change the face of social media.
"We wanted to make an impact and we want to change the way social media works," said Vinciguerra.
The men said that users can't find what they're looking for on Facebook or Twitter and their site presents users with what they care about right away.
"You don't know who these hundreds of thousands of people are who agree with you," said Vinciguerra. "On wepolls, you do because you're going to see their avatar next to their poll option and then you can follow them and make a connection."
The site is free to use and it's an easy way for users to post polls to Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms, said Vinciguerra.
