PHOENIX - Authorities say a 1-year-old Safford girl has been found safe after she was abducted by her father on Monday.

Police say 32-year-old Bradley W. Hardt, a Level 1 sex offender, arrived at the child's home shortly before 11 a.m. Monday, and took the girl.

According to police, the suspect's mother heard the Amber Alert on the radio and called him.

He then contacted the sheriff's office, and turned himself in.
