Skinhead guilty in two attacks

PHOENIX - A skinhead has pleaded guilty to two racially motivated attacks.

31-year-old Chad Kerns, who has always denied being a skinhead even though he has the word skinhead tattooed on his head, pleaded guilty.

Both attacks happened in Phoenix in 2007. In one case, Kerns and several others beat a guy at a bar who was wearing an anti-Nazi shirt.

In the other case, Kerns stabbed an African American man outside a Phoenix drug store.

Kern's friend, 31-year-old Aaron Smith has been sentenced to five years in prison for his role.
