The photos of the damage caused by former hurricane Sandy are impressive, but this video fly-by of the New Jersey coastline is one of the most incredible things we've ever seen.

The video, filmed by the National Guard while searching for displaced residents near Seaside Heights, shows the extent of flooding that hit the area. The water has receded, but the sand left in it's place covers just about everything.

We can can withstand a lot more than this. The issue is will we rebuild wiser this time in there areas. Outside of the deaths and people getting hurt this might actually be a nice things forcing long needed improvements in there older areas.
