The latest Obama ad about the most important issue facing America today is not getting a rave review from the star of the commercial.

Big Bird realizes how ridiculous this is.

"Sesame Workshop is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization and we do not endorse candidates or participate in political campaigns. We have approved no campaign ads, and as is our general practice, have requested that the ad be taken down."

    Here's an idea,
How about just explaining why you think PBS needs a government subsidy instead of more sarcasm and rhetoric. These are important issues that deserve a more thoughtful response.

    Another Red Herring
The budget for PBS is around 0.01% of the federal budget. That's like making room on a 1TB hard drive by deleting some emails.

Yes PBS funding gets only a tiny % of the budget, but thats part of the reason it was used as an example. When people go to debt counseling b/c of $20,000 on CCs, whats one of the 1st things the counselor tells them? Almost always something like "You're spending $5/day at Starbucks while you owe this much? I think we found the 1st change for you to make." Sure, car payments and rent cost a whole lot more, but tackle the no brainers first. How dumb would that person sound if they left the counseling meeting and said "That guy was useless. How is saving $5/day gonna help me?"
