An opponent of Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has released another ad attacking the department's actions under Arpaio.

In the video, Paul Penzone said an MCSO under him would not permit numerous child sex crimes to not be investigated.

    to diffuse his police record . No not his record of enforcing the law but rather his police record for spousal abuse.

    told the Glendale Police Department that "Paul Penzone shoved her into the doorway". The incident led to documented injuries. Why is it okay for former law enforcement employees to avoid the mandatory arrest law, but regular people would be arrested?Thats the guy I want to see lead MCSO.

    Politics are nothing more than people choosing the lesser of two evils. One guy smacked his wife around, and the other is a senile old fool that let hundreds of sex crimes go unchecked. We don't need a self-proclaimed "America's Toughest Sheriff"; we need a good sheriff. In this case, we'll just have have to vote for the devil we don't know. The devil we do know doesn't know how to do the job anymore.
