April 30, 2012 [SOLVED - Bearded Bandit]

You wouldn't call this serial bank robber a master of disguise.

"Even though his disguise is so obvious, we have yet to get a good description," said Phoenix Police Sergeant Darren Burch. "People have listed him as anywhere from twenty to fifty years old".

The serial bank robber as hit all over the Valley at different times of day and, so far, has robbed seven banks. His fake beard and wig are so obvious that Burch said most people know it's a disguise and know something is wrong when they see him walk in.

Police ask that anyone who sees the man calls 911 from the parking lot as soon as they recognize the man.

Another unusual bank robbery case happened at the Wells Fargo at Fiesta Mall in Mesa.

"You don't see too many female bank robbers," said Burch. "They do happen, but not too often".

This robbery was on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 around 3:00 p.m.

The woman walked up to the teller with a note demanding money and saying she has a weapon. She was wearing a bandana, sunglasses and a baseball cap with an ASU logo.
