Our first case takes us to the northwest Valley on Friday, February 3rd, 2012. It's just after 6:30 p.m.

"El Mirage police officers responded to a fatal hit-and-run on Thunderbird between Grand and El Mirage," said Phoenix Police Sergeant Darren Burch.

An El Mirage woman was left to die after being struck by a car.

"The driver never even attempted to stop," said Burch. "37-year-old Blanca Carbajal was killed".

But witnesses got a good description. See the description and more details from this case here.

Our next crime happened south of the Valley on Wednesday, February 8th, 2012 at about 9:00 a.m.

Burch said the suspect walked into the AB Check Cashing store on Honeycutt Road in Maricopa.

He demanded cash, which the clerk gave him, then he took off on foot.

Investigators say he may have robbed the same store a couple of weeks earlier.

See the surveillance picture and get more details here.
