Howard Stern said he struggled for 17 months while his cancer-stricken sidekick, Robin Quivers, was absent from the studio.

Stern's BFF is now cancer free and returned to her DJ booth at Stern's HQ.

"Seriously, I've been praying for this day, and I'm really happy that you are here," Stern told Quivers during the "Howard Stern Show" on Wednesday.

Quivers took a leave of absence from working in the studio back in May of 2012, after revealing she had a tumor in her bladder.

At the time, Quivers decided not to disclose that the tumor was cancerous. She continued to broadcast from her home, only missing two shows.

She revealed having cancer early last month during an episode of the show. Quivers is now disease free and says she feels great.

TMZ caught up with Quivers as she was leaving the studio. She expressed her gratitude for Stern's support through the troubling time.
