Main Street Minute: Hotel chain hiring cooks, engineers

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events. Each weekday these stories air on KTAR at 7:27 a.m. More information can be found below.

• A housing community is about to break ground on the west side of South Mountain Park. There will be about 110 homes in the Promontory at Foothills West. The homes will be between 3,500 and 4,500 square feet each. A smaller subdivision is being considered.

• Peoria Ford is hiring, in need of entry-level sales representatives, online sales staff and mechanics. All positions are full-time. You can apply in person at the dealership on Bell Road and 91st Avenue.

• Mariott is hiring at several local hotels. Open positions are for housekeepers, cooks, runners and engineers. Experience in the industry is preferred.
