Main Street Minute: Cupcake maker has deal for kids, teachers

Sprinkles Cupcakes in Scottsdale has a special deal for students and teachers this month. Every Tuesday students can bring a test or paper in with an “A” grade and get a free cupcake. Every Monday teachers can show their school ID to get buy one get one free cupcakes. Both deals are only valid at the Scottsdale and Camelback location.

• A new wood-fired pizza joint is coming to Phoenix. Forge Wood Fired Pizza will open next month in Biltmore Fashion Park. The restaurant will have a large bar and a patio with two fire pits. The Oakland, California-based restaurant is set to open Oct. 7.

• DriveTime is hiring for several locations. The full-time positions are for a general manager, auto loan processer, operations manager and payment processor.
