Main Street Minute: Pretzel chain opens stand at Metrocenter

• Auntie Anne’s has opened at the Metrocenter Mall. The soft-pretzel chain has over 1,500 locations in 48 states and 30 countries. Auntie Anne’s stands are typically found in malls, outlet centers, airports and Walmart stores. The mall is near Interstate 17 and Peoria Avenue.
• United Health Group is hiring for positions at the Chandler Regional Hospital. The hospital needs staff for admissions as well as behavioral health experts and phone representatives. Proper certification and experience in the field is required.
• Arizona’s Department of Public Safety is holding its annual Barbecue for Champions to raise money for Special Olympics. Thursday’s lunch, catered by Honey Bear’s barbecue, at DPS headquarters at Encanto Boulevard and 22nd Avenue in Phoenix. There will also be live entertainment. Lunch runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
