iPhone 6 dropped from space to show case toughness

There’s going the distance to market your product, and then there’s this.
Rather than throwing out a bunch of statistics, the people over at Urban Armor Gear decided to equip a new iPhone 6 with one of its cases and drop it from high up.
Like, really, really, really high up.
The company attached the phone to a camera rig and, using a balloon, sent the device up more than 100,000 feet above Earth. When the balloon popped, the rig — phone and all — plunged back to the ground.
However, we’re not sure how the phone fared. We never see it working, nor do we see what happens after, so it may just all be a gimmick.
But it’s still cool to watch something fall from space.
