WGN morning news team comically, vulgarly makes fun of itself

WGN’s morning news team in Chicago responded to criticism of its show in an awesome way.
Anchor Larry Potash walked around the studio reading viewer complaints until he got to one that began with an expletive and ended with, “Nobody watches WGN.”
A new slogan was born.
Potash proceeded to promote the morning show as “The highest-rated morning show that nobody (expletive) likes.”
A little self-deprecating humor is always appreciated, especially in the super-serious world of cable news.
And at least the anchor gave his crew a heads-up that an expletive or two was coming. Over the years, some cable newsrooms haven’t been as lucky to have such a forewarning.
